Georgia man arrested after allegedly stealing $1,500 from a friend and killing him

The Atlanta Journal Constitution is reporting that a DeKalb County man has been arrested days after allegedly murdering his friend.  

After hearing a gunshot and deciding that it was probably nothing, a witnessed later found with a strange figure laying out of the door. DeKalb County Officer responded and found the body of, Francisco Dwayne Zapata, hanging out of the car.  Minutes later Zapata was pronounced dead.  

Maleik Woods, 19, was later arrested for connection to the murder of his friend.  The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that the arrest warrants for Woods did not indicate what caused the shooting or why the two were together before the shooting.  Woods is currently being held in a DeKalb jail with bond.
