Presidential candidate Eric Swalwell may drop out of the 2020 race

Dublin, California – Eric Swalwell’s campaign will holding a press conference at 4 p.m. ET (1 p.m. PT) to likely announce his plans to drop out of the 2020 presidential campaign race.

A number of media outlets are reporting that Swalwell has been unable to attract the support he needs financially to continue on. Instead, he will be spending his time campaigning for reelection of Congress.

Swalwell will be the first presidential candidate to drop out of the 2020 race.
