Last Updated on

Brookhaven, Ga – A June 22 police cam video has surfaced of, Raymond “Benzino” Scott, the founder of the popular 90s/00s Hip Hop magazine, The Source, being arrested for grounds of failure to appear.

Scott is seen speaking with two Brookhaven police officers, one an Asian-Ameican, about them running his tag and discovering that there was a warrant for his arrest.

As the officers are placing Scott in handcuffs (12:00 mark) and eventually taking him to the DeKalb County jail, he is heard yelling at the officers calling them racial slurs.

Scott was a former cast member of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, and in 2006 he found the publication, Hip Hop Weekly.
