After releasing his 9th album, the Game announces his retirement from the rap game

Last Updated on

After 15 years and the release of his ninth studio album, “Born 2 Rap,” Los Angeles’s own, The Game, is calling it quits.

“I promised another classic and my day 1 fans know what it is. I will not disappoint!!!! I’ve had a great run and surpassed my rap goals a long time ago. It’s by God’s grace that I’m able to still be here to deliver full projects at this caliber in an industry where I’ve seen artists come and go.”

The Game first studio album, “The Documentary,” with Hip Hop pioneer, Dr. Dre, was a success. Over the years the Game has gotten into many controversial battles with 50 Cent, the legal system, personal lawsuits and more.

Released on his birthday of November 29th, Born 2 Rap features the guest appearances of: Nipsey Hussle, Travis Barker, Miguel, Marsha Ambrosius, 21 Savage, and Bryson Tiller.
