Washington Post: White House expresses support for making immediate cash payments to Americans as part of coronavirus stimulus package

Washington, D.C. – The Trump Administration has heard the concerns of the American people who questioned if they would receive monetary assistance just as Wall Street has.

President Trump held a press conference on Tuesday acknowledging the needs of the American people, and Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin, has expressed that they are working on methods to release funds to working adults as soon as possible.

“We’re looking at sending checks to Americans immediately, and I mean now, in the next two weeks.”
