North Carolina schools to remain closed

Raliegh, North Carolina – North Carolina Governor, Roy Cooper, announced Monday that all public schools to remain closed until May 15th. Schools have already been closed since March 16th.

The state originally ordered the 1.5 million students to stay home from school until March 30th. Now home for an additional two months, Cooper requested the education community to work together to provide distance learning resources for the remainder of the year.
