Hong Kong, Japan – For the first time in modern history, the Olympic games have been postponed. Due to the coronavirus outbreak, organizers would like to make sure everyone in attendance is healthy. The IOC and the city of Tokyo have agreed to reschedule the games no later than the summer of 2021.
Originally scheduled to begin on July 24th, the Olympic torch will remain in Tokyo during the delay. The games will continue to be called “Tokyo 2020.”
