New York City, New York – CBS is reporting that the Central Park dog walker has been fired from her job at Franklin Templeton.

Following our internal review of the incident in Central Park yesterday, we have made the decision to terminate the employee involved, effective immediately. We do not tolerate racism of any kind at Franklin Templeton.— Franklin Templeton (@FTI_US) May 26, 2020
As previously reported, Amy Cooper was walking her dog without a leash within the Ramble of Central Park on Monday. Avid bird watcher, Christian Cooper, politely asked of her to leash her dog while in the area. Amy then began to get combative and Christian began to record her. Amy threaten to weaponized 911 by calling them to mislead them by communicating that an “African-American” was threatening her life.
Christian’s video had gone viral with over 18 million views. Franklin Templeton initially placed Amy under administrative leave until further review that resulted in this termination.
