Robert Johnson, BET Founder, calls for $14 trillion in slave reparations

During the 80s/90s/00s, Robert Johnson was the most powerful man in Black Hollywood. As the Founder/CEO of Black Entertainment Television (BET), Johnson was looked at as one of the most respected men within the Black community. Now at the age of 74, Johnson is calling for reparations in the amount of $14 trillion for the Black community.

CNBC had an interview with Johnson about his idea of reparations and how the wealth divide between White America and Black America is creating greater problems than ever before. “Now is the time to go big to keep America from dividing into two separate and unequal societies,” said Johnson.
