COVID-19 can affect male fertility and be sexually transmitted.

Shangqiu, China – Researchers in China collected seamen samples from 38 males with COVID-19. Six patients showed samples of the virus in their semen.

“According to the researchers, four of the patients whose semen contained COVID-19 were in the acute stage of infection, and two were in recovery, which the authors said was ‘particularly noteworthy’.”
