Atlanta, Georgia – The community of stand up comedians are mourning the death of one of their own, Tyler Craig.
Originally from Atlanta, Tyler Craig, was 54-years-old at the time of his death and the cause has not been made public as of yet. Known for using the line, “the moral of the story is.” Craig got his start on BET’s “Comic View,” and from there he moved on to other major comedy shows: Jamie Foxx’s “Laffapolooza,” HBO’s “Def Comedy Jam,” Martin Lawrence’s “1st Amendment Stand Up,” and more.
He also appeared in movies such as 2010’s “Baby Mama’s Club” and 2018’s “Unkillable.”
On the morning of August 7th, comedian Ricky Smiley tweeted, “I’m saddened this morning to find out about the death of comedian Tyler Craig. Watch him grow into a great talent. Rest In Peace King!!!”
Smiley also posted on Instagram.
Comedian Lester Bibbs has since posted Craig’s funeral arrangements.
