Cobb County, Georgia – Young and just enjoying life, three teenage girls wanted to get out of their home state of Ohio for the first time and travel to Georgia to support their friend’s musical career.
Mitia Pruitt, 17, Chloe Dudley, 18, and Maniya Connelly, 19, and also expecting a child. While traveling back to Ohio their vehicle broke down in Tennessee. Friends from Atlanta went to Tennessee to pick the girls up and bring them back to Atlanta, but while traveling back their vehicle wrecked.
Fox 5 Atlanta is reporting that two friends of the musician, Demetrius Blackmon, that the girls were visiting Atlanta to support went to Tennessee to pick them up. The friends of Blackmon, Martez D. Smith, 21, and Charles N. Trotter, 21, were both sitting in the front seats of the vehicle.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is reporting that neither Smith was transported to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Trotter left the scene on foot but was later arrested for an outstanding warrant.
