Coach Prime: Dion Sanders named head coach of Jackson State University

NFL Hall of Famer, Deion Sanders is named the new head coach of Jackson State University. At a press conference, Sanders is introduced as “Coach Prime.”

Known for his flashy personality and nicknamed “Prime Time,” Sanders was a popular figure in the NFL during the 90s-00s. Starting his career with the Atlanta Falcons, Sanders later moved on to the San Francisco 49ers and the Dallas Cowboys, helping to win super bowls in both locations. While Sanders moved on to play for other teams, he commanded one of the largest salaries at the time for an NFL player.

In 1994, Sanders released the song, “Must Be The Money.”
