Atlanta, Georgia – It bills itself as “Atlanta’s exclusive VIP lounge for the city’s socialites and elite professionals,” but the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s report of an overnight shooting may argue differently.
The downtown Atlanta club on Ralph McGill Boulevard, Members Only, had an overnight altercation that involved the shooting death of an employee. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that the altercation was over the entrance fee. The employee, Caleb Culbreath, 27 of Jonesboro was identified as the victim by the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office.
Officer Steve Avery of the Atlanta Police Department told the AJC in an email statement, “preliminary investigation indicated that a dispute arose over admission fees to the nightclub and the victim was shot. Detectives are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.”
In order to gain entry to the club, one must fill out an application for consideration as a member. According to a March 5th post, the club celebrated its one year anniversary.
