The people have spoken and President Donald Trump has lost his reelection bid for a second term in office. An overwhelming record of 159.8 million votes, the 2020 presidential election was the biggest ever. Several outlets are reporting that over 100 million votes were casted during the early voting period.
According to the U.S. Elections Project, there were 239 million people eligible to vote. The highest since 1990, NBC News has projected 159.8 million ballots cast in 2020 would constitute about a 66.8% voter turnout rate among eligible citizens.
President Donald Trump has been reported to refuse to concede to President-Elect, Joe Biden. President Trump has filed several suits in such as Georgia (thrown out over the week) speculating voter fraud and more without any evidence. Several outlets have projected Biden winning the election with 290 electoral votes and Trump with 219.
