Georgia turns blue

After the recent presidential election, it is clear that Georgia is turning blue since 1984. Many people are wondering how state that is traditionally red make such a move.

The Atlanta metro area has grown to become prime a spot for relocation. Whether it is the opportunities within the entertainment industry, the growing tech industry, or just the cheap housing market. Not just Atlanta, but the entire state of Georgia is a growing destination for relocation. In the terms of cost of living, Georgia has been recognized as the 11th most affordable state to live within.

In 2018, the Business Journal wrote that Georgia had the fifth largest population increase among all of the 50 states. People relocating to Georgia are coming from states that are traditionally blue with a liberal interest.

And again in December of 2019, Atlanta Agent Magazine published an article recognizing Georgia as the fifth most popular state people are relocating to.
