The third time’s a charm

For the past 40 years, President-Elect Joe Biden has been involved in various levels of politics ranging from county commission of New Castle, Delaware, in 1970 to being appointed a junior U.S. Senator representing Delaware in 1972 to become the Vice-President of President Obama in 2008 and now as the President-Elect of the United States.

During those 40 years, Biden has attempted to run for President three times. Once in 1988, a second time in 2008, and now in 2020 where he finally won his bid for election.

Joined by his Vice-President-elect, Kamala Harris, she will not only be the first woman of color (Asian/Black) to occupy the White House as Vice-President, but the first woman ever to hold the highest position in America.

Vice-President Elect Kamala Harris

Now as the president-elect, Biden will be assuming office along with Vice-President-Elect Kamala Harris on January 20, 2021 as the 46th President of the United States.
