Atlanta, Georgia – The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is reporting that the state of Georgia has finished certifying both U.S. Senate races, and Reverend Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff are set to take office Wednesday after the Biden inauguration.
Both new incoming U.S. Senators marked a historic win for the state of Georgia by turning the state “blue” after being “red” for a number of years. Jon Ossoff beat David Perdue, the one-term senator. Rev. Raphael Warnock beat Kelly Loeffler, the multi-millionaire that was appointed by Georgia Governor Brian Kemp to take over retied U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson’s remaining period of his term.
