Atlanta, Georgia – First it was the voice of the Atlanta Braves who passed away earlier this week, now it is being reported that Braves legend, Hank Aaron, has passed away at the age of 86.
On April 8, 1974, in Atlanta, Aaron hit his career 715th career home run in major league baseball. Breaking broke Babe Ruth’s record for the most career home runs against the Los Angeles Dodgers. By the time Aaron retired, he had a career record of 755 home runs.
Aaron had several businesses throughout the metro area that ranged from Krispy Kreme, Popeyes, and a car dealership.
