The odds were heavily favored for Conor McGregor to win Saturday night’s UFC 257 with the underdog, Dustin Poirier. McGregor is mixed martial arts’ most popular fighter today, but in Saturday night’s UFC bout with Poirier, we may have seen a new rising star. Currently, at the age of 32, and a UFC fighting record of 26-6-0. Poirier has shown promise to be able to do bigger and better things in the UFC.

McGregor, still one the greatest to ever walk in the UFC ring, made a promise that he’ll be back. But until then, he has plenty of cash and time to relax and retrain for a dramatic comeback of his own.
