Glenn County, Georgia – Monday marked the one-year anniversary of Ahmaud Arbery’s death, and his mother used the time to file a federal civil suit against his killers.
Wanda Cooper-Jones’s civil suit against Greg McMichael, Travis McMichael, and William “Roadie” Bryan is reported to be seeking $1 million dollars in damages. All three men have been charged with malice and felony murder for Arbury’s death. The men have been held in custody since their arrest with a pending trial date that has been pushed back due to COVID-19.
