Lowndes County Sheriff reopens the mysterious case involving the death of Kendrick Johnson

Atlanta, Georgia – Atlanta’s WSB-TV Channel 2 News is reporting that the Lowndes County sheriff is reopening the mysterious case involving the death of Kendrick Johnson.

In 2013, Johnson’s body was found rolled up in a gym mat inside the Lowndes County High School gym. It has been reported Johnson died by accidental death as recorded by the chief medical examiner. No one has not ever been charged for Johnson’s death.

Sheriff Ashley Paulk of Lowndes County has confirmed to WSB-TV that he is reopening the case and is conducting an investigation.

WSB-TV investigative reporter, Mark Winne, spoke with the state’s chief medical examiner and he says, “Yes, I stake my reputation,” that Johnson died an accidental death.
