New Georgia Tech program guarantees Atlanta Public School students enrollment

Atlanta, Georgia – Georgia Tech is known for their Division 1 football and basketball programs, and they are known to even greater for their academic programs that stand apart from others.

Located right in the middle of downtown Atlanta, many Atlanta Public School (APS) students aspire to enroll in the city’s best. Now Georgia Tech wants to make that possible by guaranteeing APS students enrollment through a new program.

Beginning this spring semester, any first-year applicant not admitted into Georgia Tech will have a guaranteed transfer into the school. After a year or two of attending another school for a total of 30 semester hours (45 quarter credits) and maintaining a 3.3 GPA, the student will be welcome to submit proper documentation to receive a guaranteed transfer through the Atlanta Public School (APS) Pathway Program.
